A video that only your account can see now downloads too: your own private or unlisted uploads, friends-only Facebook videos, age-gated and members-only videos. Switch on Private video under the download box and paste the cookies of your browser (a cookies.txt, the JSON of a cookie extension or the Cookie line). They are used for that one download and are never stored.

Paste the link of a YouTube playlist and you get a page with all its videos. Every video has its own download button; tick the ones you want, choose the quality (or "Audio only") and press Download selected: they are downloaded one after the other. A video that is part of a playlist shows a link to the whole list.

Not only ordinary videos work here: YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels and Stories, Snapchat Spotlight, clips from Twitch and Kick, and more. The home page now says so, and every platform lists what can be downloaded from it.

New on the list: MyMeetBook (videos, reels, pictures and sound files of public posts). And every link of AIOVideo works now, short links included, as do other sites that run the AIO Video script.

Got the picture and the sound as two files? The new Merge Video and Audio tool joins them into one file that plays everywhere. It works in your browser: your files are not uploaded anywhere, and the picture keeps its full quality. You find it under Tools.

Is a site missing? On the new Request a platform page you ask for it, and you like the requests of others that you want too: the most wanted are added first.

And on the Reviews page you rate the site with one to five stars and a few words. We read every review.

New on the list of supported sites: Tenor (GIFs, as MP4 or GIF), Kick (clips) and Mixkit (free stock videos, music and sound effects). A site that was added lately carries a small "New" badge on the home page for a month, and this page lists the new ones at its top.

You can now create a free account. Signed in, you find everything you downloaded in your history and can get it again with one click. Your profile, your password and the devices you are signed in on are in your own hands.

The blog starts with twelve guides: YouTube in HD and 4K, audio in another language, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X, video formats and sizes, downloading on a phone, and how to continue a download that broke off.

Many YouTube videos now carry their sound in several languages, dubbed by the creator or automatically by YouTube. When a video has more than one sound track, a chooser appears on the download page: pick a language and every "video with sound" button, as well as the audio list, uses it.

New on the list of supported sites: Internet Archive, Wikimedia Commons, Bluesky, Giphy, Coub, Wistia, PeerTube, Rutube, Odysee and DeviantArt. Paste a link the usual way.

The Contact page now has a form. Tell us what went wrong or what you miss, and we answer by e-mail. There is no puzzle to solve before sending.

Open the "Get the app" page and add the downloader to your home screen. Then share a link from YouTube, TikTok or any other app straight into it and the download starts by itself.
